Rafe Watkins

Coach Watkins and his wife Karen have been married for 36 years. Karen is the Early Childhood Principal in Shawnee, and they have two children, Ashley (31) and Hunter (27). Ashley is married to Tanner Hansen and lives in Calumet, OK, with children Ronan (6) and Tate (4). Hunter and his wife Lexi live in Prague with daughter Ronni Kate (2) and a son Ridge on the way in October.

Coach Watkins is beginning his 33rd year of coaching and 28th as a head coach with an overall record of 217–92. His teams have won 4 State Championships, made 8 semi-final appearances, and reached the playoffs 22 of 27 years. He was named Oklahoma/Jim Thorpe Coach of the Year in 2002, NFHS Oklahoma Coach of the Year in 2007, and March of Dimes Headliner Coach of the Year in 2013 — plus District Coach of the Year 8 times.

Coach Watkins is blessed by a wonderful, supportive family, the privilege of coaching hundreds of outstanding young men, and the great coaches who have made this the most rewarding job he could ask for.

Defensive Coordinator Weston McGill
Defensive Coordinator

Weston McGill

Weston McGill is in his 15th season coaching football. He will coordinate the defense and coach outside linebackers. Coach McGill has coached from the 2A high school level to the collegiate ranks — this is his first year in Prague and 8th coordinating a defense. His previous position was Head Football Coach at Henryetta, where the program reached the playoffs each of his three seasons after a six-year drought.

Coach McGill is originally from Tyndall, SD and attended Bon Homme High School, playing in the state semifinals as a senior and earning All-State honors. He played college football at Northwestern College in Orange City, IA.

Coach McGill is married to Jenna and has two sons, Bo (4) and Bear (2).

Coach Rafe Goucher
LB / RB

Rafe Goucher

Rafe Goucher is in his first season coaching. Goucher graduated from Emporia State University in December 2024 with his Bachelor's and Master's in Business Administration. He was a five-season member of the ESU football team, a four-year starter on the defensive line, a 4× All-MIAA defensive lineman, and a 2× ESU Team Captain.

Born and raised in El Reno, he played football and golf and was a state champion powerlifter. A 4.0 student, he graduated salutatorian of his class in 2020.

Coach Jack Dingus
OL / Secondary

Jack Dingus

Jack Dingus enters his 21st year in coaching, bringing championship experience and a deep commitment to student-athlete development to Prague High School. He began coaching in 2005 as a student assistant at his alma mater, Carl Albert High School, where he played offensive line from 2001–2005 under Coach Gary Rose, contributing to multiple state championship teams.

He has coached at El Reno, McLoud, Crooked Oak, Shawnee, Newman Smith HS (Carrollton, TX), John Marshall, and most recently served as Offensive Coordinator at Morris High School before joining Prague in 2025. He currently serves as Region 2 Representative for the Oklahoma Football Coaches Association and Executive VP of the Oklahoma Powerlifting Coaches Association, and is co-founder of Hog Football Chat.

He has been selected as a CPN All-Star Coach three times and a Pawnee Bill All-Star Coach once. He earned a bachelor's in history from the University of Arizona and lives in Prague with his wife Hillary, Principal of Prague High School, and their children Eli, Peyton, and Brooklynn.

Coach Jimmy Goodnight

Jimmy Goodnight

Coach Goodnight is a proud 1996 graduate of Prague High School and holds an Associate of Science degree from Seminole State College. He is the co-founder of Gregory Goodnight Properties LLC and is currently employed by First Assembly of God.

He has been happily married to Jana Vos Goodnight for 20 years, and they are the proud parents of two daughters, Jalyn and Jaxcyn, both attending Prague High School.

Since 2006, Coach Goodnight has been a dedicated volunteer football coach for the Red Devils, focusing on the offensive and defensive lines — a lifelong football enthusiast passionate about keeping Red Devil traditions alive and inspiring the next generation of players.
